Americans will receive new winter relief checks between $200
and $1,000 this week - see when you'll receive your bonus
Starting this week, Americans will receive
a one-time relief check worth up to $1,000.
A $30 million pot is being used to pay Connecticut workers.
This program is a part of the Premium Pay program,
or Hero Pay, launched by Governor Ned Lamont last spring.
Approximately 100,000 essential workers are receiving
checks ranging from $200 to $1,000.
October 1, 2022, was the deadline for applying for relief money.
The funds will be sent starting Wednesday, February 1.
MONEY CLAIM CRITERIA
To qualify, you must have worked as an essential worker in
Connecticut between March 10, 2020, and May 7, 2022.
Vaccination priority lists were formed by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention for the Premium Pay program.
