Millions could receive $180 inflation relief checks
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Monday
that state residents would receive $180 inflation relief checks.
A paycheck is likely to be sent to every tax payer in the
Great Lake State under the plan, which uses money from
a burgeoning budget surplus. By the fall, the state's
Surplus is expected to reach $9.2 billion.
In a press conference, Whitmer said this is the largest
tax break for working families and seniors in decades.
