It is only one week left for Americans to get a relief check
worth over $1,000, but they must meet certain qualifications.
To supplement income for heat, rent, and property taxes,
low-income Coloradans are eligible to apply for funds.
Earlier this month, Governor Jared Polis announced that Colorado residents
Who qualify would be eligible for a Property Tax, Rent, Heat (PTC) Rebate.
As part of the PTC program, more than $7million in
relief funds will be provided to Coloradan
seniors and people with disabilities in 2023.
A maximum of $1,044 can be received per year by eligible residents by Friday, March 10.
In addition, people who apply in 2023 can receive a refundable tax credit of up to $1,000.
A Colorado resident must be at least 18 years of age as of
Criteria for eligibility
January 1, 2022 and be at least 18 years old by December 31, 2022.
Additionally, if you are single, you cannot earn more than $16,925,
and if you are married, you cannot earn more than $22,858.
