There are unexpected tax bills on rebates between $600 and
$1,050 being received by Americans - see if you're one of them
The American people are fuming over the fact that if
they receive a rebate in 2022, they may have to pay taxes on it.
If you live in California, this might apply to you.
Since the fall, the state has been sending rebates through
the Middle Class Tax Refund program (MCTR).
In general, they are worth between $200 and $1,050, depending
on the number of dependents, income, and filing status.
In addition to providing some relief from high inflation,
California's Franchise Tax Board did issue a warning that rebates over $600
