In just six days, California will receive a direct
payment of up to $1,050 under the stimulus program
It will be less than a week before the final wave of California's
Middle Class Tax Refund is distributed to all taxpayers.
This final wave of payments will be paid to all recipients by 14 Feb
and will be made in the form of a debit card for those
Who have changed addresses since filing their 2020 tax returns.
According to the California Franchise Tax Board, refunds for
this refund have been distributed to recipients since October 2022.
California residents who filed their 2020 taxes by Oct. 15, 2021
are all eligible to receive this refund. It is recommended that recipients
allow up to two weeks for their debit cards to arrive in the mail.
Joint filers must have had an adjusted gross income of $150,000
or less for the 2020 tax year in order to receive the full $1,050.
A single taxpayer without dependents with an adjusted
gross income of $125,001 to $250,001 can receive a $200 refund from this program.
